With all the puppies now through the critical first 48 hours all is well. Pups feeding nicely and very lively. May just get a little sleep in ourselves now.

Ryly is showing the most interest in the pups.

He keeps a watchful eye, always checking the whelping box, making sure that all is well with Tia and her puppies.

Good practice as he will become a Dad himself some day soon.

The pups will not really get up to that much in the first weeks other than to eat and sleep, and eat they will as they triple in size over this period.

But mum has a lot of work to do, feeding and cleaning up after them.

The puppies are 10 days old now and there eyes have just started to open, and other than a lot of good house keeping , this is really the only major event of the first two weeks

For the moment, until you guys, the new ownwrs pick names for your puppies we are going to be calling them

Over the weeks to come there is a lot more action from the puppies.
