Mind stimulating toys are a great outlet for your Miniature Schnauzer when they are left alone, or the family is busy. They tend to have a naughty streak in them, and if they are left unattended for long periods of time, they will get bored quite easily, and trust us, they'll soon find something to occupy their mind, and you may not be best pleased with their choice. You have been warned.

All they want is to have fun and more fun
Regular exercise is a must for all Miniature Schnauzers. They gain weight very easily, which can result in health problems. With a good diet and regular exercise, these problems can be avoided. You should be consistant, a Miniature Schnauzer will take as much or as little exercise as you can give them, but you can't expect a pet used to short walks to go on a five mile hike. Minimum exercise requirements can be met with a regular short walk, or a good game in the garden. They enjoy playing outdoors, and just love a good interactive game like tug of war or fetch with family members.
Miniature Schnauzers also enjoy doing agility; a challenging and energetic sport that requires a great deal of concentration and enthusiasm, a perfect match for the willing to please Miniature Schnauzer breed.
