Miniature Schnauzer have a good appetite and in general are not fussy eaters. There is a vast choice of food, but It is important not to skimp on quality. Cheap commercial food products are unhealthy for your dog and we will always recommend you buy the best your budget allows.
Consider maybe buying your Miniature Schnauzer dog food in larger sized bags, but always check you'll be able to use all the food before the best before by date. For example our local pet supply store sells 3Kg bags of our food for £13.25, but the 15Kg bag is sold for £47.50. You can do the math, but in my book that's as good as a £20.00 saving, just for buying a larger bag of a premium product. Never give your Miniature Schnauzer table scraps, chocolate, or tip bits, they will seldom refuse food, so be careful you don't find yourself with a couch potato.

Food is a topic we take seriously. Any reputable breeder will supply you with ample to feed your new puppy for the first weeks with you. But in spite any advice from them the decision after that is very much yours
